Public Sector Reform has been introduced to improve the operational efficiency of the Public Sector. It is a deliberate attempt by Government to alter and improve its structures, processes, systems, attitudes and behaviors to create the appropriate institutional capacity to propel and sustain the social and economic development of Barbados.

Public Sector Reform is therefore about taking a proactive approach to inducing and managing change for the creation of a better society.
