Nicholas
Abbey
- at Cherry Tree Hill (see below) is a fine example of Jacobean styling
and is thought to be one of the only three such Plantation Great Houses of
that period still standing in the Americas. Built in 1650, it is believed
to be the oldest house in Barbados.
