BLACK HISTORY MONTH PANEL DISCUSSION ON FEB 05The National Library Service will celebrate black history month with a week of activities which will commence with a panel discussion this Thursday, February 5. The event, held under the theme ‘Blacks in Business – The Way Forward’, will take place at the library’s new headquarters at Independence Square, the City at 7:00 p.m. The aim of the discussion is to sensitise Barbadians about the dynamics of business, and the way forward to achieve successful business enterprises. The panel will comprise Managing Director of Matrix Marketing, Randolph Sandiford; Chairman of the Commission for Pan African Affairs, Dr. Erskine Simmons; Managing Director of D.L Smith Productions, Dawn Lisa Callender-Smith; Managing Director, Human Quality Headquarters, C/o The Feed Project, University of the West Indies, Sherrilene Collymore; and Head of Small Business Barbados, First Caribbean International Bank, Michelle Daniel.
